Timeline for Dermatopathology Fellowship Match and FellowshipsCAS 2027–2028:

  • October 1, 2026: FellowshipsCAS open to accept applications

  • January 15, 2027: Application deadline. Applicants are encouraged to submit applications before January 15, 2027

  • January 15, 2027: Programs can begin interviewing applicants

  • February 3, 2027, 12 p.m. EST: Programs and applicants begin registering for the Match and sign the legally binding Match Participation Agreement

  • April 14, 2027, 12 p.m. EST: Ranking opens

  • March 31, 2027, 11:59 p.m. EST: Quota Change/Withdrawal Deadline (programs must withdraw or adjust quotas by this date)

  • April 14, 2027, 12 p.m. EST: Rank order list certification deadline

  • April 28, 2027, 12 p.m. EST: Match Day!

  • July 2028: New fellows start
